Lodha Developers have brought together a world-class team who have conceptualised an exclusive residential enclave set around a private garden square. The development features architecture by PLP Architecture, landscape by Gustafson Porter, interior design of the public and amenity areas by the celebrated interior designer Patricia Urquiola, and residential interiors by the award-winning Bowler James Brindley.
The project is the result of collaboration between some of the world’s leading architects, interior designers and landscape gardeners. Patricia Urquiola, the world renowned designer and architect known for designing the Mandarin Oriental in Barcelona and her innovative furniture range, is creating the residents’ amenities for the projects. This is Patricia Urquiola’s first project in London.
The interiors are being designed by Bowler James Brindley to reflect an elegant, warm and contemporary design, and the private courtyard has been designed by award-winning landscape architecture practice, Gustafson Porter, known for the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial in Hyde Park. The courtyard will provide an area of calm and tranquillity exclusively for residents.
PLP Architecture has designed the building, which has been crafted to blend seamlessly with its heritage location. Lee Polisano commented: “The thoughtful selection of high-quality British and Portuguese sandstone provides visual continuity to the building’s facades, each responding to the scale, form and palette of their surroundings: amongst them, the grand Victorian Gothic Royal Courts of Justice to the South, and the neo-Jacobean Land Registry building to the North.”
The development comprises nine storeys plus ground floor and two basement levels as well as a private courtyard. The scheme will house 204 super prime Apartments. Residents’ amenities include a stunning 25-meter swimming pool and spa complete with separate vitality pool and treatment rooms, a gymnasium, a private club and library, a cinema room, private dining room for up to 36 people, as well as snooker and games rooms. Lincoln Square will offer residences from studios to four-bed apartments and two penthouses.
